Stoke Recovery Service is an abstinence-based recovery centre, supporting residents of Stoke-on-Trent who have had substance misuse issues but are committed to abstinence and rebuilding their lives through meaningful and fulfilling activities.

Story

Our Stoke Recovery Service provides high-quality, compassionate and caring support, for people who are ready to make positive changes and take control of their lives. Our therapy team provides group and one-to-one support, and we offer opportunities for peer support as well as varied activities to ensure a strong recovery foundation is created. We also provide additional support such as smoking cessation, and fun and engaging activities such as fitness classes and art projects. We also have a garden project and a farm project, and we love to get involved in community events. Our annual charity football competition is a highlight of the year, helping us to raise awareness of addiction and recovery in the community. We are proud to now have a strong and visible recovery community in Stoke-on-Trent. Our motto is 'we do recover', and people who use Stoke Recovery Service describe it as welcoming, supportive, and a safe environment with a friendly atmosphere.
