Lady and the Uke have been moved by the recent devastating conflict in Ukraine. This is an all-new original charity folk release, called "Ukrainian Dream", to raise money for the British Red Cross' Ukraine campaign, British-Ukrainian Aid and the Ukraine Charity; all specifically helping the children of Ukraine - caught up in this tragic war.

This song takes its roots from 60's anti-war protest songs but adds Ukrainian folk elements to raise awareness in this time of need. It is written to recognise the children being separated from family - even now - as mothers rush to save their children from the daily onslaughts, leaving fathers fighting to save their homes. All the while, hoping for a day to come when they can reunite and be a family once again, safe. For many, this sadly will not happen which is why we need to raise money to help all those affected by this conflict.

💙 British Red Cross, with teams from the Ukraine Red Cross Society (URCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) — who specialise in emergency responses in conflict situations — are on the ground, urgently scaling up the support we are providing to those affected by this conflict.

💙 British-Ukrainian Aid supports people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of medical aid to such persons and organisations caring for them.

💙 Ukraine Charity supports underprivileged children in Ukraine and undertakes other charitable initiatives in the country. The charity raises funds for orphanage refurbishments, learning programs and summer camps, medical devices for children's hospitals and various other projects.
