Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
So, I decided to do the unthinkable last month and sign up for the Bristol Half Marathon. Anyone who knows me understands the sheer injustice I will be submitting on my body! Its fair to say I DON'T run!
But, it's a great challenge, and my inspiration comes from my Uncle Dave who passed away last January following years of rehabilitation after his accident.
Everytime I hit a wall whilst running, he's the first person I think of and how incredibly brave he was. I've never known someone who could be so badly injured yet still have time to tell a joke...incredible man.
This charity do alot for people and families to help rehabilitation. Their network consists of members who, using their experience as amputees, support people awaiting amputation or amputees experiencing difficulties since their operation. Dave was very keen on being a counciller himself and helping others, so I think this charity stands for alot he believed in.
If you can donate any amount I would be so grateful and incredibly motivated to run FASTER!!! Trust me, I won't be happy to walk it, I want to run the whole way and get as good a time as possible.
Keep checking back I will update on progress,
Cheers guys,
Adam
