Story

Hey everyone, I’m back again for my 3rd Fundraiser! 💪 This October, I'm taking on the 100 Miles in October challenge in support of the National Autistic Society. 💜

How do these 100 miles work? Well I don’t usually count my every day steps as part of the goal. I will be completing 5k a day everyday for the month! So although I may clock up 10k steps a day usually, they will not be counting. I will be recording all of my data/activies on Strava!

The National Autistic Society supports the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families through specialist schools, campaigning for better rights and services, and helping organisations become more autism friendly. Their work is transforming lives and changing attitudes every day.

Once again, I’ll be doing this in support of my now 8 year old son, Charlie. A loving, caring individual that has the kindest soul 😇 He has now been OFFICIALLY diagnosed as autistic. 💜 My Beautiful Daughter, Aria , who is 6, is also currently on the pathway to being assessed as well. So I will also be doing this for her, an even bigger reason for me to get this done. She’s an absolute firecracker and will no doubt keep me on my toes and encouraging me to keep going! 🔥I’ve always tried to spread awareness with the world of Autism and by doing this challenge, donations and raising word allows this diverse community to become part of the norm in people’s lives and should be accepted now and forever in society. My fight for 100 miles is just the start, many more mums, dads, grandparents, friends, colleagues are also sharing the same goals with me, come get involved in this special journey with me again! I would love for you to join along!

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. Not only will it help keep me motivated throughout the challenge, but it will also support the National Autistic Society's work to create a society that works for all autistic people and their families. Thank you for your support 💜
