Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2013 · 4 August 2013 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Dear generous friends, family & supporters!

This summer we have set out to complete the London-Surrey Ride 100 in the highly ambitious target of sub 5 hours. Though we have been training through the winter, this is by no means guaranteed and we will be spending every weekend in the Surrey Hills between now and August to try and meet our target.

We will be raising money for Sue Ryder in memory of our Grandma who worked for the charity through to the end of her career. During this time she cared for our late Great Grandma who spent her last years being cared for by Sue Ryder.

Three years ago our Grandma passed away with terminal cancer. From fighting fit to bed-ridden in a few months, terminal cancer is a terrible ordeal for any family to go through.

Sue Ryder care for the patients and the families affected by terminal illnesses, and this is why we are riding for them and ask you to support us in raising money for them.

It's been a long time since either of us have asked for sponsorship and so we ask you to dig deep to help us meet our fundraising goal!

Thanks in advance,

Adam & Guy
