Volunteer Zambia 2019 · 20 August 2019

Volunteer Zambia is an international Sport for Development project. The project uses sport as a vehicle to engage, inspire and educate disadvantaged young people in Zambia around gender equality and HIV/AIDS, while also developing sport as a whole.

Story

Thanks for taking time to visit my page, I'll make this quick!

I am going as part of a voluntary team from Northumbria University to Zambia to deliver sports sessions to their local community. The money raised will allow me to go a across as part of a team to deliver sport to the kids and communities in and around the capital city.

Life in Zambia is massively different to the life we know in the UK, these kids love this time of year when us volunteers go across to deliver sport to them. It sounds cliché but it really means the world to them, and it would mean a lot to me if you donated any amount of money, no matter how small or large, it all adds up in the end.

Help me make a summer which will help impact the lives of young Zambian children.

Thank you :)
