I’m raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I’d be grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but sadly everyday, hundreds of people still lose their lives. This fundraiser means a lot to me. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with a heart condition. This made me realise how important heart health is and also has made me aware of how lucky I am to continue living my life with minor adjustments. Unfortunately in the summer I received heartbreaking news that a former colleague, Martyn, had suddenly passed away. Martyn was one of the kindest, funniest and genuine people you could meet. These are the reasons I’m taking on this ride. To help sufferers, friends and families like Martyn’s, so fewer people have to go through the pain of losing a loved one unexpectedly.
