Royal Parks Half Marathon 2018 · 14 October 2018 ·

The stunning 13.1 mile route takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads and four of London’s eight famous Royal Parks

Story

I'm going to be leaving a trail of sweat across the nation's capital, and I've entered into it willingly. A whole (half) marathon. I'll be doing this indecent act on 14th October, and this page is where you can donate cash to see my sweaty beetroot running face as if that's something worthy of your money.

What I do know is that the cause I'm running for is well worth your hard-earned quids. Diabetes UK is the leading charity to support those suffering from Diabetes and also funds essential research. In short - they're legends. Check out more info here before donating:

My dad suffered from Type 2 diabetes the majority of his adult life. Over the last year his quality of life deteriorated significantly due to health complications that stemmed from diabetes. On 3rd September he died peacefully in St. Heliers Hospital. Even though he was the kind of person that would much rather have had a pint than go for a run on a Sunday, this half marathon is in memory of him.

And then pub after, obviously.

So go on, give generously to this great cause.
