Those of you who know me well know that I'm more like The Grinch than Buddy the Elf when it comes to celebrating Christmas. In fact I've even been heard to suggest that Christmas would be better if it was more like the Olympics - every four years! 

But that changes now, because this year we could all do with a bit of extra Christmas cheer!

So, On Sunday 6th December, along with my sidekick Harri (aka Santa's little helper), I will walk 10km around the streets of Kirkliston dressed in full Elf attire. We hope to give all those we come across a bit of a laugh, and hopefully we can raise some funds for Maggie's in return. 

Throughout the pandemic I've watched my colleagues at Maggie's work harder than ever to support those impacted by cancer, along with their friends and families - and the truth is, that support is needed more than ever before. Like many organisations, the pandemic has had an incredibly damaging affect on our fundraising and finances, so this is my way of going the extra yard for Team Maggie's.
