Dear All
A thank you message from Paul and Samantha
"We would like to thank Adam for his stamina, courage and love. He has been very brave doing that massive run and we are so proud of him, just like Sonny is up there in heaven I am sure. Its coming up to Sonny's 1st birthday, who would have thought this time last year what would have happened hey?? We have coped very well because of our family and friends, not forgetting little Nell our rock!! Thank you so so very much for all your unconditional love and support, without you lot we wouldn't be where we are now. As for Sonny, we love and miss you so much, wish your absence was only a dream".
About the race.
Well that was interesting… The most amazing landscape, which helped with the pain relief. But what helped the most, was all the money that was donated by all my great friends and contacts. This has now turned into so many people who know of Paul and Samantha, who are putting so much effort and support into raising yet more money for FSID’s, so I would like to use this site to send my thanks out to them and to you all who have helped with the donations. In the mean time I’m starting to train for the London marathon, so please still donate, as the 26 miles will be a lot faster (I hope) than the 60 hours it took me to run the Libyan Challenge.
O' I have just put myself down for the Pennine Challenge which offers one of the toughest one-day races you will find anywhere in the world.
With 100 miles of tough Pennine trails and tracks, and over 10,000 metres of ascent, Pennine 100 is a race not for the feint hearted. Add to this self sufficiency, changing weather and for most some night navigation ... it then becomes a must do event for anyone looking for a new test of fitness and endurance.
The Pennines provide their own challenges too. The Long climbs and descents total over 13,000 metres on trails ranging from wide open farm tracks to technical single track.
Can't wait......
So please keep the money coming
Kind regards Adam.
