Story

On the 23rd of April 2023 we will be running the London Marathon for Action on Pre-eclampsia. A cause very close to both of our hearts.

Pre-eclampsia is the most common cause of serious complications during pregnancy and if not properly managed can prove fatal for mother and baby. It is the leading cause of maternal mortality and babies needing to be born prematurely.

Both our Mum's suffered with Pre-eclampsia during their pregnancies. Adam was born alongside his twin Matt by emergency C-section. Kate was born alongside her twin Sarah again by emergency C-section at 29 weeks after their mum Suzie had spent a lot of her pregnancy in hospital trying to hold on having the twins for as long as possible. We have chosen to run for this charity to support a charity helping families like ours with research, support and education around the disease.

We are aiming to raise £4000 for such an important cause that comes very close to home for us. Please donate whatever you can and share our cause! All support is hugely appreciated.
