The REaD Group 5,000 Challenge is going to take place between 27th June - 10th July, finishing off with some of us running the ASICs 10k. Our lovely colleagues are going to be taking part in various efforts, with the numbers all adding up to 5,000 - e.g. baking 100 brownies and selling them with the profits going to the charity, running for 200 minutes in a week, practicing 75 minutes of yoga.

Why 5,000? Because there are on average 5,000 people in the UK living with Motor Neurone Disease at any one time. Motor Neurone Disease Association is REaD Group's Charity of the Year, and we're so excited to be raising as much money as possible for this fantastic cause.

I will be cycling the cumulative length of the coastlines of the Channel Islands (175km) virtually, using a stationary bike. To make this even more of a challenge - I'll be doing that twice.
