Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As you probably know, Joe (6) my eldest son, was diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic 18 months ago.

If you know Joe, you know how well he understands his condition and how good he is at carrying out his own blood/sugar tests and taking the multiple insulin injections he relies on each day to stay alive.

JDRF's aims are perfectly alligned to the hopes and dreams of Joe and all those touched by this chronic, life threatening condition....to find a cure for type1 diabetes.

Find out more about the charity and Type 1 diabetes at www.jdrf.org.uk

And that's the reason why I ran the Marathon de Paris on the 5th April and will be running the London Marathon on the 26th April to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

So please sponsor me now, any donation large or small will help towards the funding of research to find a cure which will transform the life of Joe and all those with type 1 diabetes.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
