Our school is joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring us - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Race for life is an annual event at Adcote.  This year there will be obstacles on the route for those runners that want an extra challenge.  Runners will be dress in wonderful pink outfits, "best outfit" will be judged on the day. 

After the race there will be an ice cream van and a bouncy castle.  There will also be a raffle to enter and a refreshment stall run by The Friends of Adcote.  We hope to beat our fundraising from previous years, so come along on the day to support our runners.  

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore.

On the day

2pm         Ready with your running shoes on for the                    warm up.

2.15pm    Race start.

3.15pm    Raffle

The Race for Life will be followed by the "Dramafest" starting at 3.30pm.  This will show case the excellent work carried out by our Year 7, 8 and 9 students.
