The Butterfly Cornwall project aims to improve the way patients and their loved ones spend their last days together. Your kind donations allow the Palliative Care and End of Life team to purchase additional equipment, improve and enhance rooms used for patients at end of life, provide some added home comforts and in some cases make a 'Rainbow Day' happen meeting a patients special wishes.Sadly, many people will be in hospital at the end of their life and our initiative acts to improve the quality of that time.

I started running 3 years ago with the couch to 5 k to get fit and loose some weight.

3 years on I have gone from 5k, 10k races and half marathons . The difference running has made to my physical and mental health has been dramatic  

Running on my own or running with my wife is my happy place 

I have always wanted to run the London Marathon and especially now I have complete a half Marathon. I am excited but also scared about the task ahead but that is what pushes me forward to the finish line and with your support and donations will give me the strength to keep training.

I am proud to have worked at RCHT for the past 15years and feel very privileged to get the opportunity to run for my chosen charity . I am thoroughly grateful for every penny which is donated.
