Hi! So the premise has changed but the goal remains the same. I was meant to be running the LLHM with my father at the end of March to raise money for the rocking horse children's charity. Unfortunately due to the covid-19 crisis this has now been cancelled. As instead. To make up for this o will be walking 25 miles a week over 5 days until the crisis has ended and I can return to work. Aside from the odd blister it's been going well so far and I intend to keep the up as long as I'm able. 

Fortunately I have not been in need of this charity, however I have been witness to some of the amazing feats they achieve for those that are in dire need of them both through my Step Mother and also family on my partners side who were in the unfortunate position to be able to benefit from the charity.    My Step Mother is involved with a branch of Rockinghorse called Aidan's Christmas Dinner project - please do look it up. As a result of this involvement I was inspired to be my fathers running partner for the event and to also want to do something to help.

     Although I've never done this kind of event, I have ran several obstacle mud runs and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time round I have the added incentive of being able to raise money to achieve a lot of good and essential services to those that need it. What more motivation could we need to succeed!?

     Running this event with my Father will most likely be entertaining experience for those watching on the day for simple fact that neither of us are what you would class as athletes however we are both training hard and dedicated to making this fundraiser a great success!
