London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
As most of you know (because I’ve chewed your ear off about
it), I’ve been injured for the last 6 weeks and have been seriously considering
deferring my place to next year. However, after much deliberation, I’ve
decided to go ahead and give it my best shot on 28th April!
I have been lucky enough to secure a ballot place, so,
although I don’t have to raise money, I have decided to run in aid of the St.
James's Place Charitable Foundation. Over the last few years I have been able
to see the results of their amazing work first hand and it really is a great
Charity. The Charity mainly focuses on children and young people who have
special needs through illness, disability or mental health problems and also
those who are disadvantaged in other ways.
Whilst I appreciate that you may be inundated with sponsor
requests at this time of year, this donation will provide so much more than you
anticipate as by putting your donations through the St. James's Place
Charitable Foundation, St. James's Place will match everything raised and
effectively double your donation. If you have a few minutes, please do take the
time to look at their website https://www.sjpfoundation.co.uk/
Thank you so much for visiting my page and considering a
donation, every penny (doubled, don’t forget !) will help me hobble over that 26.2
mile finish line.
