I am competing in the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021. I secured a championship entry for the event by completing a sub 1:30 Half Marathon in October 2019. I am aiming to complete the marathon in 3 hours 15 minutes, (this will be my first marathon). I have trained for this marathon back in 2020 'pre-covid' and had to defer my place to this years event and trained again very hard (1700 km ran this year so far!) I have overcome an Achilles tendon injury. I have decided to try and raise some funds for my school's charity called Classrooms in the Clouds. Education is the way out of poverty in many less economically developed countries. Remember to Gift Aid your donation please. I donated myself to start things off.
