My brother & I completed our first hike last year, alongside some of our amazingly supportive friends.

We hiked in memory of our brave Dad, who died in 2020 and also in support of our super strong mum who was fighting breast cancer at the same time.

This year I’ve decided to go bigger and better and complete the full marathon hike. I’ve even managed to rope in a team of friends, whose support has been endless this past couple of years, not even a 26 mile hike in the Peak District has deterred them!

2020 was a horrendous year, with both parents so unwell at the same time, it was a devastating for us when we were made to feel pretty helpless, this hike allows us to give something back. Raising money for the Macmillan nurses means that they can continue to provide much needed support for families, like ours, and help to make a difficult time, just that little bit easier.
