Adept are very aware of the wider impact of their activities and giving something back to the community is a main focus. Adept run and manage a number of social responsibility initiatives every year and have also organised a number of charitable events, such as The Yorkshire 3 Peaks, York Cycling 100km Route and Windermere 20 Challenge, to raise money for different charities including Action Medical Research and Barnados.

On 27 July 2019, 15 members of the Adept team will be embarking on a brand new fundraising challenge - Tough Mudder! The Tough Mudder course spans over 10 miles and has 25 challenging, very muddy obstacles to overcome. Adept will be raising money for their chosen charity, St Vincent's in Leeds. 

St Vincent's aims to make a positive impact on the lives of families living in poverty across Leeds. Their support centre, based in East Leeds, is dedicated to changing lives through advice, support and education. They make a huge difference to the lives of so many by providing tailor made support. 

Adept’s Tough Mudder fundraising challenge will benefit the St Vincent’s Leeds based centre greatly. The money raised through this initiative will enable the centre to continue functioning, providing vital services to the community. A few of the services currently provided are Debt Advice, Counselling, Employment support, ESOL classes and a number of community groups. The funds raised by Adept will make sure these services continue to improve and benefit the community and centre's service-users.
