For over 50 years, Heart Research UK has funded pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease. Many things that we now take for granted, such as heart valves, angioplasty would not have been developed without our help.

Our Story

On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd June, a team of adi Group employees will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to help raise funds for Heart Research UK. 

In a 24hr period the team will be climbing three mountains;
Snowdon (1085m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Ben Nevis (1345m). The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft). The total driving distance is 462 miles.

In preparation for the event, the team has already completed several training runs on various routes at Snowdon as well as local routes in the Malvern Hills over the last few months. 

The Team:

David Barnes, Lee Price, Karl Healy, Brian Imrie, Simon Cleaver,  Duncan Honeysett, Shaun Johnson, Roy Downing, Tom Jennings, David Waldron, Gordon Densley, Dan Walker, Stuart Anderson, Claire Rowley, Steve Emery, Jordan McMillan, Sam Scott and Charles Baker will be taking part in this event.
