My name is Aditya Chauhan and I am 4 years old. I was born at 33 weeks old - much earlier than I was planned! I was a premature baby and spent the first 3 weeks of my life being cared for and looked after by the amazing staff working at the Neonatal Unit at Northwick Park Hospital.

This was a very frightening time for my Mummy (Kanchan) and Daddy (Jay) as they did not know what would happen to me. But thanks to the fabulous team who took extra special care of me, I managed to become a healthy, happy (and of course cheeky) little boy. My family and I will be forever grateful for all that they and Mr Stewart Disu's team (Obs and Gynae) did in welcoming me into this world. 

To show a little token of appreciation, I will be shaving my luscious locks of hair that I have been growing for years!

Any fundraising money I raise will be donated to LNWH Charity, specifically to help with the specialist care provided by the Neonatal Unit at Northwick Park Hospital. The charity fund staff and patient welfare to get extra care for all across North West London.

I will donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

I’m shaving my hair on the 19th June 2021 and my parents will share photos once it’s done!! Yikes - wish me luck!
