On the 25th March 2022 we received the incomprehensible news that our best friend Mike had taken his own life. As a group of school pals, we are trying to concentrate on remembering the incredible memories we have of Mike (believe me there are hundreds!) and are looking ahead to try to do our bit to fundraise, to help others who feel they have no other option. Mike was just 38, and a top lad with the biggest smile, and the biggest heart. I was lucky to call him my marra. 

I am doing the Manchester 10k on 22nd May, for Papyrus, a charity chosen by Mike’s wife Emma, and daughter Caitlyn.
