Story
I've worked for the Trust for over 25 years where I've worked mainly at West Cornwall Hospital. I've also spent a few months as a matron at RCH and recently a year at St Michael's Hospital. All are great hospitals playing their part in supporting the people of Cornwall with their health needs.
I'm cycling with other members of the Trust in support of the our charity. For me this an overdue commitment as I originally signed up to the charity's London to Paris event in 2020. Unfortunately this was eventually cancelled due to the pandemic.
I want to be able to raise funds towards entertainment equipment such as TVs, tablets and book readers for our longer term inpatients at WCH and SMH. In my experience, boredom makes the days very long for the patients and this in turn can unsettle them.
Any contribution will be gratefully received and be helping a great cause. See more information below.
