We run Sage House - the first dementia hub to help improve health and wellbeing

Story

I will along with a good friend be aiming to scale the mountain heights of the Himalayas to try and reach Everest Base Camp at 19000 + Ft., this I will be completing in November in aid of raising money for Dementia, which so many people including myself and my family know only too much about, after seeing close family members suffering from this cruel disease.

Dementia,  is now the leading cause of death in the UK. It’s a devastating and complex condition. Every 3 minutes somebody will develop dementia. There is no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. We at Dementia Support are there for all those who need our help. We reduce loneliness, give the best quality care and provide hope, supporting the whole family. Through the Coronavirus pandemic we continue to offer much-needed support to people living with dementia and their family, friends and carers.

Anything you can spare towards this will be very much appreciated.
