Story
Hello and thanks for visiting my just giving page.
With the current situation (covid-19) most major sporting events this year have been cancelled. For example the London marathon which raises a substantial amount of money for a lot of charities including Alzheimer's society.
What I am going to attempt to do is 26 Sprint Duathlons in 26 days. A sprint duathlon is made up of a 5km Run, followed by a 20km bike ride and finished off with a 2.5km run, 26 is significant because that is the length in miles of the London Marathon. The aim is to complete one duathlon per day for 26 consecutive days.
I plan to exercise within the government guidelines for leaving the house so on some days I may have to complete the final run in my garden! Should be fun!
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Thanks you for your support.
