Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

In June 2015, we lost my brother Richard to heart failure - just after his 50th birthday. Ten months later, we then lost Dad in exactly the same way.

What we learnt from this - live every moment of your life to the max. I have wanted to do something to raise money for the BHF so have teamed up with my partner Natalie and our walking Buddy Sophie and we have decided to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.

This means climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough totalling 5200ft of ascent, as well as covering 25 miles all in under 12hrs!!

If you can give anything, even the smallest amount, it would be greatly appreciated. Charities like the British Heart Foundation and Papworth Hospital actually gave me my Dad for 20 years longer than we thought.
