Hello everyone, my name is Sonny and I am a very cheeky 11 year old. My body does different things compared to most children my age as I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects my whole body. My disability makes it harder for me to do everyday things, but I always try my hardest as I want to have fun! For this years Children's Challenge my school, the Pace Centre, have set me the task of sitting on my stool with close supervision,but minimal support and push 'boccia' balls down a ramp. Stool sitting works on my balance and core strength.  Using my hands in different sitting positions gives me the opportunity to be independent.   It will be a hard personal test for me but I will try my hardest to achieve my goal.
All the money that I raise will go to my school, The Pace Centre. They provide a great place for me to develop and I love it there. I'm lucky as I have teachers, therapists and classroom assistants to support me. They all work together with a special programme designed just for me which helps with my learning and development so I can reach my full potential. They do the same for all my friends and support us kids and all our families. If you decide to sponsor me you will be helping a great school that does not get money from the government, it relies on donations from wonderful people like you to change the lives of over 100 kids like me.
