Story
In August last year a close family member got diagnosed with cancer, luckily after courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy they were given the all clear in February this year.
For those not so fortunate Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
As a result I have challenged myself to step up from weekly Saturday morning parkruns to a half marathon rounds the streets of Peterborough on Sunday 15th October. Your donations and support would not only mean a great deal to me but to all the folks at Sue Ryder and the people they support as well.
