Over the past 3 years the same group of guys (of which I'm a member) have been getting together, riding our bikes and as well as enjoying the company of our like minded selves we have raised money for charity. This time it is in memory of one of our original members - John Howson.

At Novera, I had the great pleasure of working closely with John for over 10 years. John's warm and friendly character and beaming and engaging smile always lit up any room. On my first big cycle from London to Liverpool, John was the shepherd who ensured his flock of 'newbies' stayed safe and well throughout.

Unfortunately John lost his short battle with Cancer at the young age of 51 and we are all making this trip to help raise some money for the hospital that cared for him and of course to remember his life.
