Story

Our journey has now finished and looking back it is amazing our bodies are in one piece. This was the hardest challenge Edward and I have ever faced, and I am so proud that we managed to complete this horrendous task. Our gruelling challenge took us over 40 miles of extremely hilly Welsh terrain, and if that isn’t enough to make any heart beat, we climbed up and down nine of the highest Brecon Beacons (Fans),  the largest being Pen y Fan at 2,907 Feet.   I believe if you were to add all our ascents consecutively we scaled almost 10,000 feet in 3 days.  As we soon discovered the Welsh ‘love their valleys’ and the higher we went up the further we had to come down.  Finally we arrived at our destination at Trecastle and to commemorate this occasion I kissed the road, I am not a good out of bounds type of guy, and I do love the pleasures of civilised life such as my bed.   Thank you so much for your very kind donation to AMANTANI UK.   Edward and I certainly earned every penny for this charity.

Love from, Adrian & Edward
