Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Jo died in 2019 on her way to the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi. On behalf of the Food and Agriculture Organisation she was to have presented on the subject of Marine Litter.

Her friends and family have set up the Foundation so as to keep her name and her mission for animal welfare alive. Please donate to support that effort. One fine day between now and 8th June, I shall cycle 50 miles. You can follow our charity on www.joannatoolefoundation.org, which contains a
link for sighing up to our newsletters. Thank you.

Someone sent me a poem containing the line 'Celebrate Life' and I realise that I'd never actually considered that before.
Now I see that life, our life and that of every fly and flower is not only precious but indeed also miraculous such that every
day lived is an undeserved bonus. We should be grateful for each day that Jo lived rather then mourn her short life!
