I am taking this challenge to celebrate my continued good health at the age of 70 and to raise money for my favourite charities.

Fight for Sight is a medical research charity which is developing genetic therapy for conditions such as Choroderemia which caused my father’s blindness and already effects some of my nephews. It is possible to channel your donations direct to the leading research team.

Our journey will start on September 10^th and we hope to arrive on September 17^th after 520 miles (832 kms).
