In February 2008,  I am taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race by sailing the Pacific leg of the race.   Starting in China, we will sail to the West Coast of America, with a stopover in Hawaii.   Racing on a cramped boat, with 3 hour shifts, temperatures ranging from -20C to +35C and encountering the various sea conditions that are thrown at us, I expect to be challenged to the full.

I am raising money for Leap Confronting Conflict which is a very worthwhile charity working to help young adults deal with conflict situations in a non-violent way.   Every penny raised will go to the charity.  So please sponsor me now and help this small and dynamic charity to grow and spread their skills more widely!
