Event: Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2024, on 2 June 2024
We provide autism services in N.E. Scotland to support individuals and families

Story

I decided to walk the Kiltwalk this year in honour of my good friend Willie Davidson, who passed away suddenly on April 3rd. It was something we had discussed me doing and I know he would have wanted me to go ahead. I chose a local autism charity to support, as both of my daughters are autistic.

A-ND is a charitable organisation based in Aberdeen which provides support across the Grampian area. Our aims are to ensure the provision of the best possible education, care, support and opportunities for people of all ages with autistic spectrum conditions (ASCs) by supporting families, improving understanding and developing best practice among carers and professionals.

About the charity

AND seeks to ensure the provision of the best possible education, care, support and opportunities for people of all ages with autism in North Scotland. AND also seeks to support families, improve understanding of autism, and develop best practice amongst carers, professionals and society.
