Story
I am cycling with four intrepid university friends from Land’s End to John O’Groats (950 miles) over 10 days. The charity I have chosen to support is Shivia Microfinance.
Shivia is a UK-based charity that works with poor communities in India and Nepal. They provide training and capital to these communities so that they can start up or engage in market-driven, sustainable enterprises.I am very excited that I will be going to see the work they are doing in India in November.
