Open Doors provides practical support like food, medicine, housing, clean water and education as well as micro-loans to start businesses to persecuted Christians worldwide. We also provide Bibles, Christian literature, training, literacy programmes and trauma training. We work in over 50 countries.

Story

I am taking part in the Muskathlon – an extreme fundraising and sporting challenge to raise funds for victims of extreme persecution in many parts of the world including Syria and Iraq. I’ve started training hard to complete a marathon in Lebanon. I will also be meeting people who have suffered persecution for their faith and who are benefiting from the wonderful work of Open Doors. I’m aiming to raise £10,000 before I take my challenge in Lebanon. Please help me to fundraise for Christian refugees-it would be hugely appreciated. If you can sponsor a family for £25 a month please ring 01993 460015 to make your pledge.

Give hope to a family in Syria
Christian families forced to flee their homes are now trapped in Iraq and Syria. They can't return home, work or provide food for their children. Now over 24,000 families depend on Open Doors for food. Open Doors emergency supplies have become a symbol of God's hope.
Families living in temporary shelter, portacabins and even church halls, face another harsh winter reliant on others for food. Yet many food distributors are leaving. If Open Doors left too, one church leader said: "What will happen to our people? For sure they will die."
