ArcelorMittal Orbit Abseil · 11 June 2017 ·

Every year we support thousands of children and families right across the country. We provide rehabilitation to help children make the best recovery possible after a serious accident or illness, both at our national specialist centre in Tadworth and in the community.

Story

AdRoll is on a mission in London. As part of our AdRoll Gives Back programme our trusty team are embarking on the abseil of their lives to help the Children's Trust.

Ben Fletcher, Eoin Ryan, Gavin Flood and Anahid Basmajian are taking part in an 80 metre free-fall abseil from the ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture. The sculpture is one of the biggest legacies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games that united London in 2012. Made of 35,000 bolts and enough steel to make 265 double-decker buses, the ArcelorMittal Orbit is made from recycled steel, including washing machines and used cars and it is Britain’s largest sculpture.

On 11th June, AdRoll's brave crew will be taking on the abseil challenge all to help the Children's Trust. The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury and multiple disabilities. Your donations will help the charity to provide rehabilitation and community-based support to children who have a brain injury as a result of a tragic accident or serious illness.

The Children's Trust also provides education, therapy and care to children with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health needs at their School for Profound Education. And as if that wasn't enough they also provide expert nursing care and short breaks for children with complex health needs, including those who need a ventilator.

The AdRoll team have committed to raise £1,500 and we need your help to smash that target. Please make a donation of whatever you can afford and you'll be making a difference to children and families who need the Children's Trust.
