Everyone wants to feel a sense of connection. To feel that they fit in, to feel safe, valued, have great friends, and to feel loved. People with Down Syndrome are no different.

For many parents receiving the diagnosis that their child has Down syndrome is a time of great uncertainty - and many worry about what the future will hold for their child, and their family on this unexpected path.  It is also a lonely time.
