Cancer Support Yorkshire is a local independent charity providing emotional, practical and social support to individuals and families at our centre in Bradford and in Skipton.

Story

ADVA is at it again!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This year, ADVA has decided to step away from the comedy and bring you a new challenge: The Yorkshire Three Peaks! We will be walking (some will be running!) this in aid of two incredible cancer charities: Cancer Support Yorkshire, St Leonard's Hospice.

We have a wonderful team from ADVA York of all ages and fitness levels that have volunteered to put on their walking boots and spend up to 12 hours walking over big hills. Some have even convinced friends and family to join us as well, all in the aid of raising money for these incredible charities.

So why these charities? We are all touched by cancer in some way during the course of our lives, and due to the loss of a wonderful colleague and friend this year, we thought it only fitting that we dedicate this event to his memory and everyone that we have lost or is currently fighting this cruel and indiscriminate illness.

As we would love to raise as much money as possible for these wonderful charities, we kindly ask you for a small donation in sponsorship to help us achieve our target of £1000 which will
go towards providing ongoing support to both. In order for the funds to be distributed evenly, please can we request that you select one of the two to even it out?

Photos will be posted after the event.

Many thanks,

ADVA-Y3P Team!
