Story

Our team are taking on this latest challenge in support of Railway Children to complete the 3 Peaks by Rail!

This is an action-packed challenge for our team of four with the first train departing from Crewe on Thursday evening and travelling to Snowdon, which they will climb overnight.

They will then head for Ravenglass to climb Scafell Pike, before a night on the train up to Fort William to climb the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.

Louise Oldham is our Client Services Delivery Manager and has been with Advance TRS since April 2016. Louise is responsible for the continued growth, success and effective service delivery of the Client Services team and supporting the Client Services Director. Outside of work she is a keen netball player for a local team and enjoys travelling whenever she can, last year Louise went on a boot camp holiday to Marbella with a rigorous programme of yoga and hiking. Louise is excited to take on this physical and mental challenge to test her strength as part of a team for such a great cause and has started to break in her new hiking boots and pushing her incline training in the gym.

Jake Rodger is a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Rail signalling. Jake has risen through the ranks in his time with Advance TRS to be a knowledgeable consultant with a wide-reaching network in the sector. Jake was one of the key drivers to bring together a team to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge and is using this as a great focus to his workout schedule and training. As a new member of David Lloyd gyms, Jake loves a relaxing spa session and is enduring beastings from his personal trainer in his weekly sessions. No pain no gain! As a keen golfer, Jake is also planning to clock up a chunk of practice miles on the golf course!

Sam Riley is one of our Delivery Specialists working with our Client Services team. Since joining the business Sam has settled in well as part of the team and has shown his hard work and dedicated mentality to providing the best service possible and learning his craft. Sam enjoys working out and keeping fit as a semi-professional Goalkeeper and was previously a member of the Fulham academy. On top of his physical fitness, as the only Duke of Edinburgh Award participant in the group, he is an excellent addition to the team.

Tom Gibson is our Recruitment Consultant specialising in the delivery process for the recruitment of Engineering, Design, M&E, Process, Commissioning, Site Agent/Managers and Project managers for the Construction sector. Tom is looking forward to the challenge and is excited to work towards such a big challenge as part of a strong team. Tom is an avid Chelsea FC fan and is planning a practice walk by completing the Surrey Three Peaks (Box Hill, Holmbury Hill and Leith Hill) a challenging 33.5km walk across the local countryside will prove great training!
