Story
Victoria Ross accompanied five amazing students from Abbey Hill Sixth Form College on a 5k walk from Marske to Redcar, all to raise funds for children in Nepal. The walk, staged over 4 days, was a massive achievement for the students.
Victoria, who works for the Horizons Specialist Academy Trust providing infinite Opportunities for their students, will travel to Nepal this coming November as a volunteer with Adventure Aid Nepal.
The group of 15 people hope to raise £7,500 £7,500 to purchase and deliver new uniforms and equipment for 200 children (it costs just £20 to give a child new hope with a school uniform, shoes, rucksack, pencils and books), to provide a new library of 1,500 books and to buy and help plant 2,500 fruit saplings during their visit.
Help Victoria reach her target and let the efforts of these amazing students make a difference to the lives of children in Nepal
