Story

Thank you for visiting AEW’s JustGiving Page for The Walking with the Wounded Cumbrian Challenge 2023.

Why we Support Walking with the Wounded?

WWTW step in to help those who’ve served in the military as well as their families when they have had difficulty in adapting to civilian life. They focus on three key areas: employment, mental health and care coordination which in turn is saving jobs, homes, relationships and lives of the veterans who are struggling since leaving the military. We have supported the Charity in the past be assisting in the regeneration, development, and maintenance of their Manchester contact centre on Canada Street. We now engage in fundraising to ensure that the services they provide can continue to make a positive impact.

What is the Cumbrian Challenge and how can you help us help them?

On the 13th May 2023, 28 members of AEW’s team will be taking on the Cumbrian Challenge “The Tougher Route”. The Challenge will see our teams traverse the Cumbrian Fells for 31km with an ascent of 2,289m.
