AFC Portchester 24 Hour Relay Run · 14 May 2022

Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) is all about bringing people together to raise awareness and much needed funds for all those affected by cancer through events. Established in 2008 as a fundraising organisation, now a charity in our own right looking to grow and grow to build for a great future

Story

AFC Portchester is a long term supporter of the amazing work FFC does in our local community, supporting those whose lives are affected by cancer.

Our veterans team in particular are always keen participants in the annual FFC football tournament and, in recent years, have taken on various additional challenges to raise funds.

This year, a team of 7 veterans will attempt to run the streets of Portchester without stopping for a full 24 hours over the 14th and 15th of May 2022. Given their advancing ages and lack of running experience across the team, this will be a massive challenge and we need your help to motivate the guys to achieve it.

Pete, Keith, Dan, Mike, Macca, Simon and Phil all have their own reasons for putting their bodies on the line in aid of FFC and no doubt you have your own experiences with this terrible disease, so please give what you can to get the total as high as possible.
