AFC Portchester U11 Girls Run for the NHS · 6 May 2020

NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

AFC Portchester Youth U11 Girls are looking for donations for a Charity Challenge that will see the team, parents, siblings and coaches (including one very large and extremely unfit coach!) running the total distance they should have travelled to each league game this season.

The total distance is 530 miles, with three trips to Basingstoke, two to Winchester and a day out in the New Forest awaiting!

Alresford Town - 46 mile round trip

Chineham - 94 mile round trip

Hatch Warren Phoenix - 91 mile round trip

Southampton Womens - 52 mile round trip

Stubbington Youth - 12 mile round trip

Sway - 74 mile round trip

Whiteley Wanderers - 32 mile round trip (thanks for playing in Eastleigh!)

Whitchurch United - 77 mile round trip

Winchester City Flyers - 52 mile round trip

All monies raised will go to the NHS Charities Together fund, in recognition of all the hard work our front line key workers are undertaking at this very difficult time.

NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
