Alhamdulillah with the brothers from As-Sabiqoon, in these last days of Ramadan, we decided to help build a Masjid after hearing of the plight of Muslims in Sierra Leone.

There is a serious threat of hundreds and thousands of people losing their Imaan due to the missionary efforts. The following picture shows our brother with a cross on his t-shirt...

Our aim is to provide a Masjid that can become a hub to consolidate and strengthen their Imaan and the Imaan of their progeny and be a centre of Dawah In Sha Allah.

The Masjid will be vital in giving them not only a place of worship but also a community hub for the men, women and children. There will also be a Water Well to serve the community too!

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur'an with him. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then used to be more generous than the fast wind. (Bukhari)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is reported to have said:
مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ
Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
