Story

My sister and I are making Time for a Cuppa Together and raising funds for dementia specialist Admiral Nurses. Thank you for visiting my page and donating to Dementia UK.

Our Grandma passed away 21st May 2017 and she had Alzheimer’s and vascular Dementia for a long time. It was heartbreaking and impacted the whole family and our Grandad who looked after her for much of this time had been through it before with his own Mum (my Great Nan) who also had dementia.

Our Grandma eventually ended up in a dedicated care home towards the end of her life and we visited her every week even though she had no clue who we were 😢 We are still in awe of the carers in the home and the nurses and doctors at the Sussex County for all they tried to do for her and we know they will still be doing for others today.

We’d really like to raise awareness and funds to support these amazing people and if you’re free (let’s face it, you probably are!) We’d love for you to join us and perhaps catch up, play some games and raise some money for Dementia care.
