Updates:

23rd May - We did it with only minor injury to include bruises/grazing and a few blisters. We want to thank those that have sponsored us to date. We would love to get our total to £5,000!  A few photos of the day have been attached to our page.

1st May  - Just under 3 weeks to go. We have raised £550.00 which is a bit to go till we reach our target of £2,000. Last year we raised over £3,000 and really appreciate the support we received for such a worthy cause.  Included in this years total is an offline donation which came in the form of a cheque  for £250 from TWOx Charity Committee. Thank you so much TW.

25th April -  A huge thank you to those that have sponsored us.  Since setting up this page we have very sadly lost Tom Gaughan, one of our long serving Site Managers, from a heart attack. Tom was part of the Agetur family for over 30 years and was a very important, loyal and trusted member of the team; he will be sorely missed by all. We will now be running the Rough Runner in memory of Tom as well as for Garry Taylor who received great care and attention at the John Radcliffe in Oxford while recently ill.

Thanks for visiting our page. As a team of 26 we are raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research by competing in the Oxfordshire Rough Runner on Saturday 19th May and we would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target. 

Recently we very sadly lost Tom Gaughan, one of our Site Managers, from a heart attack. Tom has been part of the Agetur family for over 30 years and was a very important, loyal and trusted member of the team; he will be sorely missed by all.

In addition our Accounting Manager, Linda Taylor’s, husband Garry was recently very gravely ill with unstable angina and was facing open heart surgery until he was offered the opportunity to join a trial procedure.

So, this really is an important cause close to home for us.
