On 13th May, I will be running the Kirkland Half-Marathon in memory of beautiful little Lucie, our dear friends' baby who sadly left us on 1st November 2010, only 16 days old due to meningitis. I would like to raise money for the charity that her parents created to support families in similar circumstances and raise awareness of the disease. Because it doesn't just happen to other people unfortunately, please help me raise money and awareness of meningitis, a silent killer which can touch anyone irrespective of age.
