Help us make our goal of raising $2,000 for AgrAbility Virginia's Assistive Technology Fund.  100% of your donation will be used to directly support farmers with limited resources to continue farming safely.  Assistive technologies are one way farmers can improve accessibility and enhance independence on the farm.

AgrAbility Virginia assists farmers and farmworkers to keep farming safely by promoting safety, wellness, and accessibility on the farm. AgrAbility Virginia staff are able to visit the farm and review the farming operation at no cost to the farmer. The team then offers resources, makes referrals, and recommends assistive technologies.

Our assistive technology recommendations can include a lift for a tractor or an added handrail or step to improve access, or a small modification on an existing tool such as adding a horizontal handle to a shovel for better grip strength.

Easterseals UCP, an AgrAbility Virginia partner agency, organizes the Assistive Technology Fund as an avenue to support this mission. If a farmer has limited resources, the fund can be used to help purchase the recommended assistive technology. All donations to the Easterseals UCP AgrAbility Virginia Assistive Technology Fund are used to directly support Virginia farmers!
